Five days ago, I posted about reaching number two in Swords and Sorcery New Releases. Last night, shortly before 10:00 PST, I hit number one on hot new releases! This is just a quick blurb before I head out for the day, but I just had to share! Of course, here’s the accompanying screenshot for proof!

In other news, book two of Dynasty of Storms is well on its way, and is already surprising me as the writer! You know when you’re writing along, and the storyline evolves in front of you, going in a direction you hadn’t anticipated when you sat down to write? I love it when that happens! Several characters in Rising Thunder did that exact same thing to me, and they were some of my favorite characters, adding depth and nuance to the other characters and storyline that I hadn’t anticipated.

I am looking forward to getting this rough draft finished, so that I can start editing and revising it into the sequel that Rising Thunder deserves!
